In the 1850 Census father Frank is farming, the family also has three other children living with them, Sarah (age 12) and Jacob (age 9) Wilson, and Jane Briggs (age 12). These three children were born in Indiana.
Susan married Joseph Drewer on March 31, 1870. Joseph supported the family by farming; together they had two sons John, who died young in life, and Frank.
1885 Iowa State Census there is a 12 year old girl, Francis Bush, also living in the household.
Susan and husband Joseph are living with their son Frank and his family in 1910. (Frank married Minda Nott and gave Susan three grandchildren, Homer, Hattie, and Leslie Raymond.) The 1920 Census records Susan in the home of Susan Vandyke, she is employed as a servant; strangely her marital status is listed as Single.
Susan lived in Henry, Ringgold, and Keokuk Counties, Iowa all of her life. During the years she was raising her son the lived in Jefferson Township.
She died after taking ill, she was buried next to her parents.
