Swedish Actor. Born as Stig Olsson in Malmberget in the north of Sweden. Performed numerous acts in theatres, revues, radio shows, as well as 133 films. He worked with directors like Ingmar Bergman, Alf Sjöberg and Hasse Ekman, and his most acclaimed role was in the film ”Hets” (Torment, 1944) as the sinister teacher ”Caligula”. The film ”Fram för lilla Märta” (1945) and the stand-up comedy act ”Fibban”, are other memorable acts. After his retirement, he moved with wife Aase, to Rouqebrune at the French Mideterranean Riviera. He died at hospital in Monaco.
