Mrs. Cynthia Sexton, Aged Banner Resident, Dies; Burial Monday


Miss Cynthia Sexton, 76, of Banner, died at the home of Mrs. Nanny Weddington, Sunday. She was a daughter of Hite [sic!] and Jane Gibson Sexton.

Miss Sexton was never married. She was the last of several brothers and sisters. She had resided with Mrs. Weddington for 60 years.

Funeral rites were conducted at 11 a.m., Monday, at the home, the Revs. Isaac Stratton and Fred McGinnis officiating. Burial was made in the Weddington cemetery under direction of the Hall Brothers Funeral Home.
