He died at his home.

He was married in 1850 to Miss Emily Lillie and to this union four children were born, as follows: Eliza J. Watters, of Coopersville; Fredrick A. Lee, of Grand Rapids; Henry Lee and Lovica A. Lee, both deceased.

Besides an invalid wife he left two children, one half-brother and one half-sister and a large circle of friends to mourn the loss of a kind, loving husband, father, brother and friend.

Son of Fredrick, and most likely Phyla Wellman Lee. Fredrick had 2 wives but Ruben, Nathaniel S., Henry & Ammon Lee were of Phyla or Phila.
