Mother: Eleanor McBride (?) Brown b 1792 in Ireland
Father: Thomas Brown. b. 1786 in Northern Ireland died September 15, 1866 in Paterson, NJ
Agnes was born on a Saturday
There is a question whether she was born in New York or Ireland and the year either 1817 or 1827. The 1880 US Census taken in Paterson, New Jersey on June 9, 1880 lists Agnes and her parents as being born in Ireland and Agnes as 62 years old. Strangely next door is George Brown age 50 in real estate and Mary A Brown with daughter Ella -not Hurd -maybe he's the brother of Agnes but he claims to have both his parents born in England.
Nettie Hurd is living there age 32 daughter dressmaker
They were Protestant
Agnes and Abram were married on a Tuesday July 19, 1842 at the First Presbyterian Church in Paterson, New Jersey at the age of 25
