Wilson Gordon(1794-1879) was the youngest son of James Gordon,Sr.(1752-1844) & his wife Jerusha Tarbell(1753-1834) of Groton, Massachusetts to Cavendish,VT, later they moved to Rushford to be near their sons & their families.

William, his brother came in 1808 with Eneas Gary to look over land, that became Rushford, NY Then the 5 Gordon Brothers all came to Rushford in 1810 with their families. In 1815 their parents, James Gordon, Sr. & his wife Jerusha Tarbell came in 1815.

He married 1st Lydia Pratt, then came to Rushford, NY in 3/1812. He ran a sawmill from 1830 - 1855. He was also a farmer & lumberman.

His 2nd wife was Mrs. Experience Paulina Walker Brown, daughter of Billings Walker & his wife Hannah Proctor.

His 3rd wife was Elizabeth Wyant Ward, who was still living in 1908. Wilson died 2/27/1879.
Her daughter was Ida W Ward(1859-)
her son was Charles W Ward(1866-)as to 1875 Census.

Children by Lydia Pratt & Wilson Gordon are:
1. Sophia Gordon (1818-)m. William Merryfield
2. Jerusha Gordon (1820-)m. Newell McCall
3. Thomas Gordon (1824-1864)m. Mary Lewis, & both died of
" The Fever" in 1864.
4. Orson Gordon (1826-1864) was not married & died of " The Fever"

Wilson & his son Orson were farmers.
