Frederick Cordell, 67, a retired railway employee, died yesterday in a Port Townsend hospital of injuries suffered July 23 in an autombile accident north of Quilcene, Jefferson County.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday in the Wiggen & Sons chapel. Burial will be in Evergreen.

Mr Cordell of 1140 N 94th Street was a welder and car repairman 38 years for the Northern Pacific Railway. He retired in 1957.

Born in Nanaimo, BC, Mr Cordell came here at the turn of the century. He was a member of Local 133, Brotherhood of Railroad Carmen of America. His wife, Agnes, died in 1956.

Survivors are a son, Fred J Cordell and a daughter, Mrs Shirley Bolsey, Seattle, and two sisters in California.
