Mrs Helen Myers wife of William H. Allen died early yesterday in her home at 6215 Fifth avenue. Mrs Allen was the only daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. U. H Myers. She was born in Harrisburg in 1865, came to Pittsburgh in 1887 and was married to Mr Allen here, in 1889. She was for many years identified with kindergarten work with to Piittsburgh and Allegheny Free Kindergarten Association. Mrs Allen was a communicant of Calvary Protestant Episcopal church. She leaves her husband and five children, Lieutenant William H. Allen III: infantry Lieutenant Winthrop M. Allen, Edward J. Allen II. Helen M and Elizabeth Robinson Allen.
