QUEENSBURY -- Della Ida Palmer, 82, a resident of Queensbury, passed away Monday, Aug. 12, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Sept. 1, 1930, in South Glens Falls, N.Y., and was the daughter of the late Fred and Florence (Corlew) Whiting.

Della enjoyed bingo, camping, parties, friends and, most of all, her family. Let us also not forget the dining room table where she held family court. She was also a lifelong housewife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Besides her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Milford; her great- granddaughter, Alexis; and her brothers and sisters, Doris Ballard, Ray Whiting, Agnes Baker, Betty Cook, Joyce Smith, Mary Meyers, Carol Whiting, Richard Whiting and Edward Whiting.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at Singleton Sullivan Potter Funeral Home, 407 Bay Road, Queensbury.

Burial will follow at Glens Falls Cemetery.
