Carol S. WHiting, 55, of WIlliams Street died Monday, Oct. 27, 1997, at Glens Falls Hospital.
Born Jan. 1 1942 in Glens Falls, she was the daughter of Fred and Florence (Corlew) Whiting.
She enjoyed bingo and was a member of a Country Western Fan Club.
Four sisters, Doris Ballard, Joyce Smith, Agnes Baker and Mary Myers, and one brother, Raymond Whiting, all died before her.
Survivors include three sisters, Della Palmer of Queensbury, Betty Cook of Glens Falls, and Eleanor Ellis of Hudson Falls; five brothers, Edward Whiting of Queensbury, Richard Whiting of Glens Falls, Donald Whiting of Fort Wayne, Ind., Albert Whiting of Glens Falls, and Fred Whiting of Gansvoort; one godchild, Tanya Green; several nieces and nephews; and her longtime companion Roseanne Curry.
Funeral services wil be conducted wednesday at a time to be announced.
Burial will be at Glens Falls Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Sullivan Minaham & Potter Funeral Home, 407 Bay Rd. Queensbury.
