the late Fredrick and Florence Corlew Whiting.
Mrs. Ballard was a retired employee of Native Textiles.
she loved riding and going to her country western music fan clubs.
she was an avid bingo player.
her husband Warren Ballard died in 1971.a son Richard Ballard
died in 1963. a brother Ray Whiting, and a sister Joyce Smith.
also died before her
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Coon of Queensbury
and Mrs. David Dickinson of Queensbury one son Edward Ballard
of Queensbury; six sisters, Della Palmer of Queensbury,
Agnes Baker, Betty Cook and Mary Myers all of Glens Falls
Eleanor Ellis and Carol Whiting both of Hudson Falls
five brothers Edward Whiting of Queensbury, Richard Whiting
and Albert Whiting both of Glens Falls, Donald Whiting of
So Glens Falls and Fred Whiting Jr of Gansevoort;
six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Sullivan, Minahan
and Potter Inc Funeral Home, 67 Park St Glens Falls with Lt
Bernard Myers, Commander of the Salvation Army, officiating
Burial will take place at Glens Falls Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday
at the funeral home.
