HALL MORRISON DIED EARLY THIS MORNING

Hall Morrison died at St. Mary's hospital in Pueblo at 1 o'clock this morning from pneumonia following an attack of influenza. He was taken ill last Sunday and conveyed to the hospital immediately for treatment. His condition soon became serious, and for several days previous to the end, was critical.
Mr. Morrison lived in Canon City the greater part of his life and was well known in this community. For many years he was employed as a drug clerk here, and in that capacity obtained a wide acquaintance and a multitude of friends. His first employment is that trade here was with Hunter Palmer, with whom he continued for a long period. Later he entered the service of Mitchell & Egbers, and continued with them from 1906 until February of this year when he resigned to take a position with a bank at Gallup, N. M. of which his nephew was one of the leading characters. After a few months at Gallup he resigned his work there on account of his health and went to Southern California where he remained fro some time, afterwards coming back to Canon City to recuperate from a long illness, contracted while on the Pacific coast. Although not fully recovered from its effect he left here for Pueblo a few months ago to take a clerkship with the Horn Drug Company, in which service he continued until taken sick less than a week ago.
The deceased was the son of Mrs. J. F. Morrison of 1031 River street, who survives him. He also leaves three sisters and three brothers. They are Mrs. Adams of Denver, Misses Fanny and Coney Morrison of this city, John Morrison, Superintendent of prison road construction work in Boulder county, Lee Morrison of Boulder and Al Morrison of Great Falls, Mont.
It is understood that the remains will be brought here from Pueblo for burial, but at the time this is written the time of their arrival is not known. No arrangements for the funeral have yet been announced.
