Frances Jane Morriosn

Miss Frances Jane Morrison died January 14, at her home, 1031 River Street. Death was due to heart failure. Miss Morrison had been probation officer for Fremont county for a number of years. Her death came as a great shock to her friends and relatives, as she was supposed to have been in the best of health. The evening of her death, she had been remarking of pains in her lungs and just before getting up from the dining table, she complained of terrible pains and in a few moments fell back in her chair. Before a doctor could be called, Miss Morrison died. Funeral services were held from her home, last Thursday at 3 p. m. and were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Flanniken, acting pastor of the First Presbyterian church. Interment was in Lakeside cemetery. There was a large gathering of friends and neighbors at the services to do honor to her memory. Among her sisters and brothers in attendance at the services were Miss Coney Morrison of this city, Mrs. Adams of Denver; John Morrison of Lyons, Colo., and Al Morrison of Great Falls, Mont., Lee Morrison of Boulder was unable to attend on account of the illness of his wife.
